This beautiful hand made brooch is from the 1950s or 1960s. This ARTISANAL MASTER PIECE derives from the long Central European tradition of GLASS cutting and precise GLASS setting. It is a truly unique piece made from several hundred (!) perfectly shaped glass pieces in perfect condition. Beautifully crafted with typical signs of age on the back. From the photos on the back, you can get an idea of the incredible amount of work involved in creating such a masterpiece, where every piece of metal is soldered by hand.

This elegant & unique brooch measures approx. 7 x 9 cm and we bought it from a Viennese collector.
