This is a wonderful handmade Art Déco brooch from Austria, the perfect masterpiece for an ELEGANT APPEARANCE. The craftsmanship details are as Beautiful as Unique: Central main stone is a large, rectangular-cut cabochon of deep black enamel sits at the center. The stone is smoothly polished with subtle faceting and is held by a sturdy, integrated bezel setting.
Filigree metal frame: The setting is made of gold-tone costume jewelry metal. It is adorned with openwork ornamentation – filigree – composed of Baroque-style volutes, C-scrolls, and fine twisted wire detailing. The metal features an antique finish, causing the recessed areas to appear darker and making the pattern stand out in relief.
Rhinestone sparkling accents: A vertical bar runs above and below the black central stone, each set with three small, clear, round-cut rhinestones – chaton settings. These add delicate light reflections to the otherwise dark piece of jewelry.
