This beautiful hand made brooch is antique and made of 800 silver and a 6 mm flower cut garnet stone. It bears an 800 silver hallmark and therefore likely dates from the early 20th century or even the late 19th century. 800 silver was frequently used in combination with garnet stones in the later 19th century, especially in European Historicism.
